$1 off General Garden Admission presented by Tom Thumb

Tom Thumb offers $1 off general garden admission tickets during Autumn at the Arboretum. Discounted tickets will be available to purchase at area Tom Thumb locations when the festival begins.

September 23 – November 25

Buy one, get one free admission. Valid for general garden admission only. Limit one per customer. Tickets can only be purchased onsite.

C.C. Young Senior Thursdays

September 24 - November 19

General admission tickets on these Thursdays are $11 for those 65 and older along with a 20% discount that day at the Hoffman Family Gift Store. Tickets can only be purchased onsite.

Join us for activities geared toward senior interests in the air-conditioned comfort of Rosine Hall. Classes are complimentary with paid discounted garden admission of $11, sponsored by C. C. Young. Watercolor with Gaylord O’Con, Southwest Watercolor Society

Thursday, Oct. 22

9:30-11 a.m.

Learn the process of how watercolor is applied to paper in this introductory class and take home a painting you’ve created under O’Con’s direction. The first portion of the program will include an overview of watercolor work, processes, techniques and feature several examples of O’Con’s work. The second half of the program will be a hands on project where participants will create a fall theme watercolor piece of their own to take home. This course is complimentary and open to the public. All materials will be provided.

Thursday, November 5

9-9:45 a.m.

Diamond in Dallas, with George Russell, will focus on the history of the gardens and the historic DeGolyer House, now celebrating its 75th anniversary.

10-10:45 a.m.

Master Gardener on Wheels, with David Gary, is geared to inspire those with physical limitations to discover the passion of gardening from a wheelchair.

State Fair Ticket-holder Discount

Present an admission ticket stub from the 2015 State Fair of Texas and receive $2 off admission, Mondays through Thursdays.

Complimentary admission to the Main Garden and Children's Adventure Garden is available to Teachers and Educators. Present a valid educator picture ID at the ticket booth for the complimentary admission. If a picture ID is unavailable, an educators ID plus a driver’s license can be presented. Teachers and educators can purchase a Dallas Arboretum membership and receive a 10% discount for the first year with their IDs. Offer is only valid on daytime admission. No tour of the Dallas-Fort Worth area is complete without a stop at the Dallas Arboretum. The Dallas Arboretum is conveniently located near both Highway 635 and Interstate 30 with easy access and parking for vans and buses.

For groups of 15 or more, the Dallas Arboretum offers discount admission and tickets as well as the opportunity to add a guided tour and meals. If you are looking for a scheduled visit, please review the options below in order to find the best fit for your group. Requests for guided-tours and/or meal options must be submitted prior to your arrival date. You will be contacted within one business day after receipt of the request.

Discounted Tickets (Self-Guided Tour)

Groups of 15 or more enjoy a discount on individual admissions. Day admissions are $13 per person for adults, $10 per person for senior adults, and $9 per person for children ages 3-12.

Cool Thursdays Concert Series

Guided Garden Tour

Groups have the opportunity to have one of our experienced tour guides lead your group on an educational and entertaining tour of the gardens. Guided tours include seasonal highlights and are available year-round. These tours are an additional $7 per person.

Dining Options

Groups may pre-order from one of the Dallas Arboretum's boxed lunch menus which include various sandwich assortments and tempting treats. Boxed lunches are $15 per person and are served in a semi-private area or can be taken anywhere within the gardens.

For groups looking for a more formal dining setting, we offer a seated lunch on the Loggia at the historic DeGolyer House. Groups are required to pre-order food from a set menu and seated lunches are an additional $27 per person.

The Dallas Arboretum is committed to making educational opportunities accessible for all students. Field trip scholarships of up to 50% discount and $100 bus stipends are available while funds last. Title I schools can complete a field trip assistance form online to submit with their reservation request.
